Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Trevano app and related services ("Trevano", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Trevano, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Trevano.

1. Who can use Trevano

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to these Terms) to use Trevano. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure.

2. Your account

You can sign in with Apple or with a one-time code sent to your email address. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time from the app (Profile › Settings › Delete account).

3. Health and safety

Trevano provides general fitness guidance, training plans and suggestions generated by software, including artificial intelligence. Trevano is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Consult a qualified health professional before starting any exercise programme, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, an injury or take medication. Stop exercising and seek professional help if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort. You exercise at your own risk and are responsible for using equipment safely and choosing appropriate loads.

4. AI features and agents

The in-app coach and other AI features generate suggestions automatically and may be inaccurate. You decide which changes to apply. Depending on the autonomy you choose in the app, AI may apply small, reversible adjustments to your training (for example, adapting a single workout) and ask for your confirmation for larger ones. Every action taken by AI is recorded in your account and can be reviewed. If you connect an external AI agent, it can only act within the permissions you grant, and you can disconnect it at any time.

5. Trevano Plus subscription

Some features require a paid subscription ("Trevano Plus"), purchased through Apple's App Store. Prices are shown in the app before purchase in your local currency. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings; cancellation stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Any free trial ends when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Trevano, including by: attempting to access other people's accounts or data; reverse engineering or disrupting the service; using it to send unlawful, harmful or abusive content (for example, in support messages or to the coach); or using automated means to access it other than through the agent features we provide.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create (training logs, routines, notes and photos you upload). You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display it in order to provide the service to you. Uploaded workout sheets and equipment photos are processed to extract information; equipment photos are not retained after recognition.

8. Third-party services

Trevano can connect with third-party services such as Apple Health and Strava at your request. Their use is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Changes and availability

We may update Trevano and these Terms. We will notify you of material changes in the app. We try to keep Trevano available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Trevano is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for injuries resulting from exercise performed using suggestions from the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country.

11. Termination

You may stop using Trevano at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
